Cutting tariffs on poultry imports would have enormous benefits for local consumers

We made a proposal to the government this week on how it can keep the price of a critical protein source, chicken, affordable for consumers. We proposed the removal of tariffs on chicken products, a moratorium on new tariffs and for chicken to be exempt from VAT.
